About Robert Cort
Founded in 1823, and operating as a manufacturer of machined and fabricated products since the 1940s, Robert Cort is a highly respected British valve manufacturer with a worldwide reputation for supplying high quality pipeline valves and scotch yoke actuators to the oil and gas industry.
During the 1950’s, Robert Cort became the first licensee to manufacture the Grove ball valve and Grove gate valve outside of the USA. Since the expiry of the licence agreement in 1979, we have continued to develop and manufacture pipeline valves under the Robert Cort name, and now supply many of the world’s largest oil and gas companies.
After years of working with the world’s top oil and gas producers, we understand the high standards of quality, reliability and safety which the industry requires. With over 70 years’ experience in valve manufacturing, a highly skilled team of professionals and cutting-edge technology, we are committed to delivering only the highest quality products, which will operate reliably for years to come.
Many of our valves have been working successfully for over 30 years, and we constantly strive to support all of our products for as long as possible. Our extremely thorough contract records help us to achieve this objective, allowing us to know exactly what was supplied to each of our customers so we can provide the correct replacement part.
